BRUNHILDE’S ROCK - MODEL PIECE

Based on Martha Graham’s portrait, this 1:25 model of a female face was initially sculpted from Chavant clay. Once complete the sculpt was separated into three parts. Each section was moulded from silicone and cast out of PU resin. Magnets were fitted into pre-imprinted notches in the seam lines to allow the sections to re-attach and separate. The finish was applied with an airbrush, Rosco paints and sealed with a glaze.
