UNION JACK FLAG

This large flag was created by first carving a polystyrene template. After covering it in silver tape and wax release, I laminated over the surface with fibreglass and resin. After removing the fibreglass sheet and cleaning up the edges, it was painted using ROSCO paints and weathered using washes and shellac button polish. A steel structure was fixed to the back of the flag and mounted on a 4m flag pole with threaded rod.
