CAST IRON RADIATOR

20 sections were CNC’d by the Scottish Opera workshop out of 18mm WISA. Once each section was doubled up I used a router with a roundover bit around the edges and inside the cutouts. The 10 sections were spaced out on two thick cardboard tubes. I made caps for the ends of the tubes with thin ply and fitted pipes on either end of the bottom tube.

The radiator was painted with Flint’s exhibition white and dirtied down with Rosco washes and dry brushing.
